Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor

As you may have seen across all news broadcasts and social media platforms, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex gave birth to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on the 6th of May 2019 at 05:26am weighing 7lb and 3oz. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced the birth of their first son on their Instagram page, Sussex Royal on Monday the 6th of May and made their first public appearance as family on the 8th of May 2019. They announced the name of their son shortly after introducing him to his Great Grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Despite being born into the Royal Family, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor will not have a royal title, as decided by his parents, Meghan and Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and rather, will be known as Master Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor as “this is their attitude and they want a normal life for their children” according to Marlene Koenig, an author and expert on British and European royalty. It is very likely that Archie, who is seventh in line to the throne, will never have royal engagements, duties or patronages as Meghan and Harry will want to have a much more normal life. The Queen may not like this, but she understands that this is what her family wants to do.
